I'm glad to hear that Crusty is still around!

The duck hut looks good from here. I'm thinking about ducks. I'm sure enjoying the duck fat we rendered from the duck you donated to us, and thinking ducks would be a good source of cooking fat for when times get hard. Plus, they're good little slug eaters, I hear. I also hear that they're more likely to leave your veg alone in the garden, so they're better for insect clean up than are chickens. Do you ever free range the ducks in your veg garden?

Nice place for the ducks to roam!! I love to watch my chickens sunbathing... the ducks look like they're enjoying it pretty good too. :)

Hubby wants to get some ducks, too. I don't remember exactly what kind, but we want to have chickens, ducks and guineas for bug patrol.
Your setup looks great!
