Escaping to the country, living the dream, and battling the blackberries.
Ugh, I know. But Small is determined to get himself some.
Rae Been reading your blog all morning, as the snow falls outside. April in Northern Alberta. I am enjoying your blog immensely!Come for a visit!!Cherylgoodnufranch.blogspot.ca
Thanks for stopping by, Cheryl!I'll definitely come visit your blog. :) My mom has old friends somewhere in Alberta that raise Percheron draft horses. I was born in BC, and my mom took me to the Calgary Stampede when I was little, but I haven't been to Canada since I was too young to remember. Bet it's beautiful up there!
My little neighbor girl just got three ducklings, and when she brought them over for me to see, I was thinking "yuck" while saying "ooh, how cute."
Thanks for the reminder......I was just thinking about how nice a few homegrown ducks would taste. Gott'a wait 'till I forget how poopy they were.
I raised three ducks two years ago, never again.
Hi RaeBoth provinces are very beautiful! However, I don't think Alberta is all that beautiful. We got about a foot of snow yesterday...but this is a typical spring for Alberta! If you ever get a chance, go again to the Stampede...you will not go home disappointed!!
Hahaha!!!I've heard that about ducks. ;o)Happy blessed weekend to you! :o)
